Daphne

Hi Everyone,

So it is Saturday and for a change I actually have plans! I am heading out to lunch with a friend and then afterwards I am heading to a Shoebox Swap. I haven't attended one before, so I really hope that everyone likes the card that I made for them!

So here is Daphne! She is a new Sylvia Zet image for www.whimsystamps.com I have had her for a week and it took a lot of control not to blow off work to color her. Finally last night when my work was finished I had time to color this little fairy.

I used Copic Markers to color her, and the papers are from Hampton Art Bright Geo 6x6 paper pad. I am really happy with how she turned out.

Have a great weekend!

Love

Lili of the Valley!

Hi Everyone,

I haven't posted for a while so I thought that I would add my selection of LOTV cards that I have made.

There are 6 Anabel cards that I colored with my copic markers, and the paper is all from my stash. I love that these stamps as they are smaller, and they are quick to color and are just adorable.

They are annabel Texting, Big Kick, Music to my Ears, Annabel Pedal Power, Roller Girl and Tug of War.

The masculine card is called Toot Toot! I made this card for a swap that I participated in and the responses were very positive.

If you want to check out the LOTV website here it is: http://www.liliofthevalley.co.uk/
They are so reasonably priced (about $8 US a stamp) and they do free shipping to the US.

I hope everyone is having a good day.
Love to you all.

Mary

Hi Everyone,

So today is Thursday and I am wishing it was Friday! I am not feeling great today, my auto-immune disease is kicking into high gear today so I am in quite a lot of  pain and I am very fatigued; but I still wanted to share this stamp with you.

Her name is Mary and she is from Whimsy Stamps. I had so much fun coloring her! I am really into bright colors right now and I think that this color combination worked really well together.

I used the following copics: Hair: E50, E57, E59. Dress, Apron & Hat: V0000, RV10, RV23, RV04, RV09, BG10, BG57, BG18. Shoes: E51, E42, E44. Lamb: C0, C01, C03, C05. Grass: G12, G14, G07. Flowers: YR65, YG68.

I cut the image out using Spellbinders Blossom 3. I used Teal and Hot Pink paper from my stash and the floral pattern is from My Mind's Eye "All Girl" 6x6 paper pad. The sentiment is from Stampin' Up.

I hope that you are enjoying your Thursday and I will post some more tomorrow.
Have a blessed day

Annabel Texting

Hey Everyone!

It's hump day and I hope that the weekend comes quickly! Living in Texas, this time of the year is usually already into the lower 90 degrees. Stepped out at noon today to go to the doctor and it was 67 degrees! The weather has been a little crazy this year!

So today I thought I would show you a card I did using some new "Lili of the Valley" (LOTV) stamps. This one is called Annabel Texting. I had the perfect sentiment from a set from Whimsy Stamps called "Whimsy Everday Sliders 1". The cool thing about this set of stamps is that they have a coordinating die cut. The paper I used is from Doodlebug's "Fruit Stand" 6x6 paper pad, and solid paper from my stash.

Besides loving the stamps themselves, LOTV is in London and their service is incredible! They ship for free and my packages have been arriving 7 days after I placed my order! You should take a look and see for yourself!

Well, I think I am going to take a nap! Doctors and shopping wear me out!

I hope you are all having a wonderful day!
Blessings

Steampunk Marci

Hi Everyone,

I have been spending the last week enjoying the company of my son Alex, and daughter Hannah. Hannah is home from college for the summer and Alex was on leave from the Navy. I just hugged my son goodbye as he is on his way back to Virginia and to a new Navy Command. Now that he is an adult, I really enjoy spending time with him. He has grown into an amazing man who is making his father and I very proud.

So on to the topic at hand, Miss Steampunk Marci. I am really enjoying the Steampunk stamps that various companies are now selling. In particular this stamp by La-La Land Crafts.

I used my copic markers in the Blue Green Range (BG0000, BG10, BG11, BG13,BG 57), and also in the Violet Range (V0000, V000, B01, V04, V06).
The paper I pulled from my stash, and the cogs are from Spellbinders.

I have not put a sentiment on it as I am going to wait until I send it to someone.

I am now going to finish some cards that I am making for a card swap. I am using Lili Of The Valley's "Toot, Toot" I will post a photo when I am done.

Have a great Tuesday

Emily

So it is Thursday which is always a good day in my house because it means it is just one more day until the weekend! This week especially is good because I have both of my kids home, so I am very happy.

This card I made is using another www.whimsystamps.com stamp named Emily, she is absolutely adorable!

I colored this card a couple of months ago using my favorite Copic markers. I am getting better at blending so I am thinking of using her again soon.

The paper I used Prima "Believe" 6x6 paper pack. The plain paper came from my stash. I cut her out using Spellbinders Oval Scallops and the corners are by MemoryBox Dies.

I love coloring, I look forward to adding new cards to this blog so that I can share them with friends and family.

Have a great day.

Iris by Whimsy Stamps

Good morning everyone. I originally made this card on 4/9/2014 using Iris from www.whimsystamps.com
I love the "Wee Ones" collection by Sylvia Zet and look forward to her new releases.

I have been using my copics a lot more in the last few months and I have really been working on my blending techniques, especially for hair as this seems to be the thing that I struggle with the most.

For this card I used Spellbinders Label 4 to cut and matte the image. The patterned paper is from Doodlebug's Spring Time 6x6 pack. The sentiment is from www.whimsystamps.com Lovely Spring Slider 2.

I sent this card to my Mum for Mother's Day, so I hope that she likes it. I am also thinking of entering it in the Whimsy Facebook May Challenge "Sparkles"

Have a good day.
