Daffy Pip

Happy Thursday everyone!

Today I have for you a lovely stamp called Daffy Pip from Sugar Nellie. They are having a Design Team Call so I thought I would enter. First time ever to try so I am hopeful. Please check out their blog over at The Sugar Bowl.

Anyway, after totally psyching myself out on Tuesday and finally putting my markers away in disgust; I got up bright and early on Wednesday and had another go. I am really quite happy with the results.

The paper is from MME "Happy Day" 6x6 paper pack, and the die is from Spellbinders.

Have a great Thursday everyone!

Party Time Lucy

Hi everyone!

Well here it is Monday already! Why is it that the weeks seem so long and the weekends so short?

So as I am on a CC Designs kick right now, here is Party Time Lucy. She was really fun to color and I got to use some papers that I have had in my stash for quite a few years (Making Memories, Cosmopolitan Collection). So I love the pink and brown color combination.

I am really enjoying the classes over at Kit and Clowder. I am really happy with how my coloring has improved because of them. So if you want to improve your coloring, head on over and check out the classes.

Have a great day!

Rainy Day Birgitta

Hey Everyone!

I got up early this morning and watched the sun rise through my office window. I love that quite time of the day when everything is still fresh and quiet, before life and humidity make things loud, hot and muggy!

So anyway, today I have an offering of one of my new favorite digital stamp designers. CC Designs creates these cute little darlings called Swiss Pixies. One of the huge advantages of being a member of Kit & Clowder is that I have got to see some amazingly talented people, but also I get to see some great designers that I probably wouldn't have known about.

So with that being said, when I discovered the Swiss Pixies I had to have them. The advantage of digital stamps is that they are much, much cheaper than rubber stamps, easier to store and you can make them larger or smaller as you need.

So today I would like to introduce you to "Rainy Day Birgitta"She is totally adorable. As always I colored her with my trusty Copic Markers. The patterned paper is from Stampin' Up. The ribbon is from my stash and the butterfly is from Petaloo "Fora Doodles". The sentiment is just something that I typed up and printed out.

You will see some more Swiss Pixies in the coming days as they are totally adorable and fun to color!

Have a blessed Sunday!

New Baby

Hi everyone!

I have had a busy few days getting my swap cards done. This months theme was "Baby".

So I used one of my favorite designers, you can check her out at her blog Sylvia Zet Blog.
You can purchase the rubber stamp from Whimsy Stamps and you can get a digital copy over at
Wee Stamps.

When making this card, I realized that it is so hard to find neutral baby cards. Also hard to find neutral scrapbooking paper to make cards.

So I used mint card stock, some lemon spotty paper from my stash. The heart die cut is from Spellbinders.
The banner is made from a Stampin' Up punch.

Now I have to get busy making cards and crafty things for a craft fair that I am going to in October!

Have a great weekend everyone!

Beach Marci

Hi Everyone,

So today I decided just to play. No classes, just coloring because I wanted to. So I picked out "Beach Marci" she is available at La-La Land Crafts. I have her as a digi stamp, but I am pretty sure you can get her as a rubber stamp as well.

As always I colored her with Copic Markers. The paper I used was from a 6x6 paper pack from BoBunny called Lemonade Stand.

I had a blast coloring her and as you can tell I am into really bright colors at the moment.

Have a great day!

Miss Maya Again

Hi everyone,

Now that my Mum finally received her birthday card (it took over 2 weeks to get to her) I can post my newest version of Maya which is available at Whimsy Stamps.

I had some of this amazing paper from "Authentique" Classique: Pretty left from another card I made and I love it so much that I wanted to use it again. I am actually thinking of re-ordering some more because it is so pretty.

I am still working on my skin and hair classes over at Kit and Clowder. It is a lot harder than I thought it would be, but I am getting with the learning curve and I am improving every day. But I am definitely practicing a lot more than I used to, but I am seeing a great improvement in my coloring. If you are curious about what the lessons are all about, head over to Kit and Clowder or their Kit and Clowder Facebook Page.

Have a great day everyone!

Saturated Canary

Hi everyone,

So I know that I have been missing in action lately, but due to health issues and a rushed return to school for our daughter I have not had much time to post, and sometimes I forget to post here as well as Facebook.

I am currently taking the Skin & Hair class over at Kit and Clowder. See the link below.

If any of you are thinking of improving your coloring skills, this is definitely the place to go. The class will run you $70 but let me tell you it is so worth it. I also got a light source class for free which makes a huge difference in how you interpret an image. I am loving learning to make my images more dimensional.

So anyway, I have colored two Saturated Canary images this week.
I made Pixie Nerd for Hannah as she went back to college, and Pixie Dust Cloud to add to my supply.
They are fun images to color and I love the look of both of them.

Have a good week everyone.
