Love from Sugar

Hi everyone,

Well today I am a little nervous as I am having surgery tomorrow, but I have tried to stay busy coloring. I finished this card yesterday for DT at Sugar, Spice and Betty Boots. She is called Love from Sugar.

Head over to The Craft Place Natter Chatter to see some of the spectacular creations being made.

I had so much fun coloring her and making this card. The paper is from DCWV called The Winter Solstice. The ribbon is from my stash and I die cut the snowflakes with some sparkly paper I also had in my stash. Around the border of my image I melted some chunky white embossing enamel with some silver and blue embossing powder and I mixed in some royal blue crushed glass. I used some white flocking on the fluffy parts of her outfit.

Have a great week everyone!
Blessings

Closet Gansta

Hey everyone! I hope you are all having a good Monday!

Now that I have given this to Hannah I can show everyone this project!

When Hannah was doing her RA training they had to tell something about themselves that nobody knew. She told everyone that she loved Rap music so they labelled her the "closet gangsta". I found this stamp from Kenny K and thought it was perfect for her so I colored it in her college colors. I just gave it to her this weekend and she loved it!

This photo was before I colored her hair. I didn't realize that I had the wrong photo on my phone so I will post another photo of her with her hair later.

I hope everyone has a great day!

Wrazzy Dazzle Button Bug Buggmee

Happy Saturday everyone!

Today we drove up to Huntsville to spend the afternoon with Hannah. Along the way we stopped at Scrapp'n Savvy. It is always fun to stop there and see Karrie and the girls there and of course to shop all of the fun product that they carry there! Jerald even enjoyed being there!

So after a long day I thought that I would share with you my latest Lacy Sunshine design called "Wrazzy Dazzle Button Bug Buggmee" (Wow what a mouthful!)

She was so much fun to color! I had never colored curly hair before so my "Skin & Hair class from Kit & Clowder definitely came in handy! But I loved being able to color in bright colors!

I used Doodlebug "Fruit Stand" 6x6 paper and matching plain paper from my stash. The buttons are also from my stash and the sentiment is from Whimsy Stamps.

The Copic Colors I used are:
Skin: E000, E00, E21, E11, E04, R20

Birthday Girl - Saturated Canary

Hi everyone!

This week is kind of rough for me. I am having 2 teeth out tomorrow and next Thursday I am having 2 discs removed from my neck. I am in quite a bit of pain, so my coloring is taking a little longer than usual.

This image is from Saturated Canary. She is completely adorable. She was a lot of fun to color.

I used paper from Jillibean Soup "Birthday Bisque" 6x6 paper pad. The ribbon is from my stash. The sentiment is from Whimsy Stamps.

Rory Sailing

Hi again,

I just finished this cutie and thought I might add her to today's blog.

I am absolutely in love with Lacy Sunshine's line or Rory digi stamps. I have to get each of the new one that they release, so needless to say I have a few more to color!

So I mixed things up a little on this card. Usually I am a CAS (Clean and Simple) girl, but after going to the "DistINKtive Card class at Scrapp' N Savvy last week, I had to play a little with the fun stuff that I got while I was there...

So the light house and crab are from Elizabeth Craft Designs peel-off Sticker line. I glittered the light house and crab up with Elizabeth Craft Designs "Silk Microfine Glitter" in Cool Diamond. Then I colored them with my trusty Copic Markers..

The beach is a combination of Stampendous Chunky White, and Aged Gold embossing Enamel, with a sprinkle of Royal blue and Champagne Crushed glass glitter. I then heated it up with my heat gun and I magically got sand!

Copics I used are:
Skin: E000, E00, E21, E11, E04 and R20 for cheeks
Hair: E31, E35, E39, E47, E79
Ribbons: R24, R27, R59
Cap and Blouse: C0, C1, C2, C3
Base of Ship's wheel: E21, E97, E08, E37
Wheel: E35, E37, E47

See you all soon!

Augie The Piglet

Happy Hump Day Everyone!

Today I colored "Augie the Piglet" by Saturated Canary. I picked her because she reminded me of the daughter of a friend who is raising a pig for Farmers Class (not sure of the name of it)

Any way, this image is adorable. The paper is from "Create Paper Farmhouse" 6x6 paper pad.
I have not added a sentiment or embellishments because I want to be able to personalize it.
My Copic Markers as always are fun to work with.

I hope everyone has a blessed day!

Rory's Giant Pumpkin

Hey Everyone!

Boy has today been a long day! I will be truly glad to have my neck fixed so that these headaches go away. I couldn't help myself, I just had to color another Rory from Lacy Sunshine. I guess it is wishful thinking to do fall colors as it is still in the 90's every day here in Houston, but she was to cute to pass up!

The paper is from "Doodlebug's Happy Harvest" 6x6 paper pad. The pumpkin is a vintage Quikutz die!

I used my trusty Copic Markers to color her. I am having so much fun these days coloring in.

I am leaving out a sentiment until I have a specific person in mind for the card.

Have a great night!

The paper is from "Doodlebug's Fruit Stand" 6x6 paper. The ribbon is from my stash. The flower stamp and punch is by Stampin' Up. I used Copic Markers to color her and the butterflies are colored with "Gelly Roll" glitter pens.

I hope that you love her as much as I do!

Fairy by That Craft Place

Hi everyone,

Happy Hump Day! I am loving this short week thing! So this is my first post as a DT Member for Sugar, Spice and Betty Boots. I fell in love with this Fairy and I was looking for an excuse to make a Christmas Card so she turned out really well in Christmas colors!

The patterned paper is from "the Paper Studio's Christmas Basics" 6x6 pad. The stamp is a vintage "Stampin' Up stamp. and the ribbon is from my stash. I used my trusty Copic Markers to color her and some "Stickles" Star Dust to shine up her wings.

I hope you enjoy her!
Have a blessed day.

Exciting News!

Happy Tuesday everyone!

This morning was an exciting time for me. I was invited to be a member of the Design Team over at Sugar and Spice (this is where you can buy their awesome designs) I posted "Witchy Poo" yesterday that is one of their designs. So you will also be able to check out my work over at That Craft Place Natter Chatter!

I am so excited that I was speechless when I told Jerald about it. I am truly thankful for the opportunity that Lisa Horton has given me.

Now I am off to color some more!

Witchy Poo!

Happy Labor Day Everyone!

What's not to love about a 3 day weekend! An extra day to spend with my hubby, and an extra day to color!

So because I am at a member of Kit & Clowder Facebook group, I have had a whole new world of artists opened up to me. This week I got to know Lisa Horton over at That Craft Place. Witchy Poo is one of Lisa's new releases and she was a blast to color. What other time can you color purple hair!

If you want to improve your coloring head on over to Kit and Clowder, Alyce has a variety of classes for everyone!

I used my trusty Copic Markers to color her. The paper is from Graphic 45's "An Eerie Tale". I fell in love with this paper when I took a class to make a whole album with just this paper! Luckily I had plenty left over so I can make a few cards with the scraps.

Have a great day everyone!
